Comenzó su carrera musical profesional en 2011 , ganando notoriedad en YouTube con el lanzamiento de la música original y covers de canciones populares de artistas como Chris Brown, La Weeknd y Drake . En 2013 , firmó un contrato de grabación con Republic Records , y lanzó las versiones remasterizadas de su mixtape 2012 My Life y su single debut "Ride" .
