Social Distortion (Social D.) es una banda de rock and roll punk fundada en California en 1978.
Historia
La banda fue formada a finales de 1978 por Mike Ness cuando era un adolescente. Tocaron con bandas como the Adolescents, China White y Shattered Faith como parte del movimiento naciente del hardcore. Su música era rápida, enojada y enérgica. En 1984 la banda apareció en el documental Another State of Mind, escrito, producido y dirigido por Peter Stuart y Adam Small (co-creador de "Mad TV").
