Biografía:
Ry Cooder, músico estadounidense nacido en California 1947, es un maestro de la guitarra slide; el slide es esa especie de cuello de botella que se desliza sobre las cuerdas de la guitarra.
Empezó a llamar la atención en los años 1960 con Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band, después de haber trabajado con Taj Mahal en The Rising Sons y de haber tocado con The Seeds.
