Biografía:
Rooney es una banda de rock de Los Angeles que tiene un contrato con Geffen Records. Está integrada por: Robert Schwartzman, Louie Stephens, Taylor Locke, Ned Brower, y Matthew Winter. Adoptaron este nombre por el del personaje Edward "Ed" R. Rooney, de la película Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986), y por ser también el nombre de un buen amigo, Donald Rooney, que les dio la idea de llamarse "Rooney". El nombre, originalmente, fue sólo una broma, pero decidieron mantenerlo.
