Roger McGuinn

Same Old Sound

by Roger McGuinn
Roger McGuinn

Roger McGuinn Same Old Sound written by Roger McGuinn

G A D G A
I've been all around the world playing songs for all the boys and
D
girls
G A D G
Well I've traveled up and down got to barnstorm every town
A G A G
And everywhere I'm bound I got to play that same old sound
A G D
Got to play that same old sound going round and round
G A D G A D
Lots of faces passin by me lots of love to satisfy me
G A D G
At times I didn't know my name but I always knew the rules of the game
A G A G
And everywhere I'm bound I got to play that same old sound
A G D
Got to play that same old sound going round and round
G A D G A D
Look who's up here on the stage no one's metioning my age
G A D G
I'll give you something good to hear I only learned to play by ear
A G A G
And everywhere I'm bound I got to play that same old sound
A G D
Got to play that same old sound going round and round

SOLO

G A D
I did it for your sister last year going to slip it right into your
G
ear
A G A G
And everywhere I'm bound I got to play that same old sound
A G D
Got to play that same old sound going round and round
