Biografía:
Pulse Ultra iniciou com um outro nome Head Space em 1997 pelo guitarista Dominic Cifarelli e o baixista Jeff Feldman incluindo o baterista Maxx Zinno que entrou para a banda no mesmo ano, Dois anos mais tarde entrou o vocalista Zo Vizza.
Pulse Ultra entrou no cenário da música em 2000 quando eles conheceram a uma banda chamada Taproot, com Cifarelli após passar um dos seus demos à banda. O guitarrista da banda Taproot Mike DeWolf, através da sua equipe de gestão Velvet Hammer, conseguiram assinar contrato com a Atlantic Records.
