Biografía:
Portastatic es una banda de indie rock de U.S.A fundada principios de los 90 por Mac McCaughan. El grupo comenzó como un proyecto solista de McCaugham, por entonces cantante y guitarrista de la banda Superchunk. Desde entonces Portastatic ha ido creciendo y evolucionado al formato de grupo, en el cual el líder suele incluir a su hermano Matthew y a Jim Wilbur, también integrante de Superchunk.
