Biografía:
Per Håkan Gessle nació en Halmstad, Suecia el 12 de enero, de 1959) es un compositor, músico y componente de las bandas suecas Gyllene Tider y Roxette.
Fue el principal fundador de Gyllene Tider en 1979, y junto con su amiga y cantante Marie Fredriksson, fundó Roxette en 1986.
También participó con el cantante sueco Nisse Hellberg en el proyecto The Lonely Boys.
Hasta 2009, ha lanzado seis discos en solitario :
* su propio nombre da disco a Per Gessle en 1983,
