Biografía:

Paul Simon nació en Newark (New Jersey) el 13 de octubre de 1941.

A los 9 años coincidió en la escuela con Art Garfunkel, con el que formaría uno de los dúos musicales más importantes de la historia. En 1957 graban un sencillo, con el nombre de Tom y Jerry (Paul Simon era Jerry), titulado "Hey, Schoolgirl!" y consiguieron colocarse entre los 100 primeros de la lista Billboard. Pero no lograron reeditar este éxito y el dúo se deshizo.

Paul Simon prosigue su carrera más adelante en solitario bajo el seudónimo de Jerry Landis.
