Biografía:
Paul Anka es un cantante, compositor y actor canadiense nacido el 30 de julio de 1941 en Ottawa en el seno de una familia de origen libanés.
Su formación musical es breve: estudió piano con Winnifred Rees y teoría con Frederick Karam, cantando en el coro que este último dirigía en la iglesia siria ortodoxa de San Elías.
Animado por sus padres, grabó su primer single "I Confess" (Confieso) a la edad de 14 años. En 1957 marchó a Nueva York donde realizó pruebas para la ABC (American Broadcasting Company) con la canción "Diana"
