Patrick Park

Bullets By The Door

by Patrick Park
Patrick Park

INTRO

Song is in standard tuning.
Fun song to play! Let me know if any changes need to be made
but I believe it is alright

F#

F#
Please don't fall,
E C# B
On me Oh Lord,
F# B F# (little lick on the end is a 0-2 hammer on string 6)
In a fist of fire, ash and stone.
B C#
As the whole world sleeps,
B F#
On gold & silver sheets,
F# B F# (0-2 hammer-on)
I'm picking up my bombs to make it known.

F#
To anyone who stands,
E C# B
Ten times taller than a man,
F# B F# (0-2)
With winter teeth and snarl that block the road.
B C#
Soon you're going to fall,
B F#
By the hands of big and small,
F#
We'll sing it loud,
B F# (0-2)
And you will know.

CHORUS

F#
You'd better try,
B F#
To keep your head up to the stars.
F# C#
When you leave this earth,
B F#
With too many scars.

Try,

To keep your head up to the stars.

When you leave this earth,

With too many scars.

POST CHORUS BRIDGE

chords: A B F# F# A B A E F#

Repeat Chords for Next Verses, Bridges and Choruses

VERSE 2

To anyone who knows,
What's in hearts and what's in bones.
They'll break or wear away you can be sure.
We don't always fight,
For God or truth, or right.
But I still keep my bullets by the door.

CHORUS

You'd better try,
To keep your head up to the stars.
When you leave this earth,
With too many scars.

Try,
To keep your head up to the stars.
When you leave this earth,
With too many scars.
