Biografía:
Nino Rota (Milán, 3 de diciembre de 1911 – Roma, 10 de abril de 1979) fue un compositor italiano.
Nacido en una familia de músicos, empieza a estudiar el piano con su madre, la pianista Ernesta Rinalde. Toma sus primeras lecciones de composición de Giacomo Orefice e Ildebrando Pizzetti y a la edad de ocho años empieza a componer.
Entró en conservatorio de Milán en 1923, fue alumno de Paolo Delachi y Giulio Bas. En 1922 compone L'infanzia di S.
