Nine Lashes es una banda americana de Rock Cristiano de (Birmingham, Alabama, formada en 2006) Lanzaron su primer álbum independiente, «Escape» en 2009, antes que Trevor Mcnevan de Thousand Foot Krutch se los mostrara a Tooth y Nail Records. Luego de firmar con la disquera, la banda grabó su segundo álbum, «World We View» y fue lanzado el 14 de febrero de 2012. El álbum vendió bien, ocupando varios puestos de las listas Billboard.

Well here goes, just one note in particular. I do realize that there is a change
from E to another similar chord (although I could be hearing it wrong) from the
first line of each verse to the second one, so if anyone would like to correct me
