Biografía:
Neil Mullane Finn nació en Te Awamutu, Nueva Zelanda, en 1958.
Su carrera ha pasado por Split Enz(1971–1974) y Crowded House (1984) siendo él su compositor principal. Desde que el grupo se separó en 1996, ha seguido su carrera en solitario (Try Whistling This en 1998 y One Nil en 2001)o en diversos proyectos como Finn Brothers con su hermano Tim. Ahora en 2007, Crowded House ha regresado.
Destacan sus letras poéticas, contando sencillezas de la vida, y su voz cálida y envolvente.

thing played on the verses); the first version is an easier way to go,
though the voicings are not as accurate as Version 2. The problem is
that version 2 relies on the higher strings, giving you very little bass
to work with -- and this is a pretty bass-heavy song.
-- This is one of those songs on the album that doesn't work
particularly well as an acoustic guitar song.
