Grupo de Philadelphia liderado por Todd Rundgren, The Nazz fue una formación de pop-rock y psicodelia fuertemente influenciada por bandas como The Beatles, Cream, The Who, Jimi Hendrix Experience o The Kinks.
Tomó su nombre de una canción de los Yardbirds titulada "The Nazz Are Blue".
Estaban compuestos por dos ex miembros del grupo Woody's Truck Stop, el citado guitarrista Todd Rundgren y el bajista Carson Van Osten.
