Biografía:
Mad Season fue un super grupo de grunge creado en 1994 en Seattle por Mike McCready, quien es el segundo guitarrista de Pearl Jam, Layne Staley, ex-vocalista de Alice In Chains, Barrett Martin, batería de los Screaming Trees y John Baker Saunders, bajista de The Walkabouts. Editaron sólo un álbum, titulado Above.
En 1994 Mike McCready, Barrett Martin y John Baker Saunders, presentes en la escena grunge de Seattle, decidieron formar un grupo con raíces de blues.
