Biografía:
La historia comenzó cuando en una noche de copas el tecladista y compositor de Keane, Tim Rice-Oxley y su amigo, Jesse Quin, músico de acompañamiento de la banda, llegaron a la conclusión de que sería una buena idea hacer juntos un álbum de música country.
La idea, que al principio fue rechazada por ridícula, cuajó cuando el dúo comenzó a enviarse canciones y a reclutar amigos para darle forma a este proyecto llamado Mt Desolation.
