Biografía:
Louis Jordan (Brinkley,08 de Junio de 1908-04de Febrero de 1975),saxofonista y cantante Estadounidense de Blues,fue uno de los pioneros del Jazz y del Rhythm and Blues.
Su padre líder de la orquesta Rabbit Foot Minstrels,le enseñó a tocar el saxo y siendo adolescente le permitió que se uniese a la misma orquesta durante los veranos.Más tarde,tocaría también con otras orquestas como las "Ma Rainey" y "Kaiser Marshall".
En 1932 se instala en Filadelfia y se une a la orquesta de Charlie Gaines.
