Biografía:
Mireille Mathieu, nació en Avignon (Francia) el 22 de julio de 1946, de una familia muy humilde. Sus padres Roger y Marcelle, tuvieron 14 hijos y ella es la mayor.
Roger su padre, tenia una buena voz pero en aquella época tan dura y difícil, no pudo llegar a ser cantante.
Mireille se dió a conocer en Francia a través de un concurso de la televisión francesa, Jeu de la chance en Telé-Dimanche. Con Jézebel una canción del repertorio de Édith Piaf saltó a la fama.
