Biografía:
Mineral es una banda de Austin, Texas, creada en 1994. Es considerada junto a bandas como Sunny Day Real Estate, pionera del subgenero emo. Sus integrantes fueron Chris Simpson (voz/guitarra), Jeremy Gomez (bajo), Scott McCarver (guitarra) y Gabriel Wiley (batería).
Durante su corta trayectoria lograron editar dos discos con la discográfica independiente Crank!, The Power of Failing en 1995 y End Serenading en 1998, ambos álbumes producidos por Mark Trombino.
