Intro:
Am F E x 3
Am E G

Am F E Am F E
I hit the bottle baby I lost some time
Am F E Am E G
I did it all to get you off my mind
Am F E Am F E
I gave the act a clean dry as a bone
Am F E Am E G
I beat the shakes I pray pick up the phone

Am C F G
Just to win back my baby's heart
Am C F G
And to tell her I would never tire
Am C F G
Let it ride it you know it's wrong
Am F G
I'll be the love that you know is gone
Am F G
I'll be the rock that you perish upon

Am F E Am F E
Hit the road together and walk the line
Am F E Am E G
Try to make it like the good old times
Am F E Am F E
Soon the fires started went out of faith
Am F E Am E G
I didn't wanna but you made me say it baby

Am F G
I didn't change I didn't change I'm still here
Am F G
Let it ride let it ride and you'll see
Am F G
Come on now what went wrong I told all ya
Am F G
I didn't mean you no harm or nothing except
Am F G
To set you my baby free
Am F G
What ever kept you from leavin' me

She says it isn't working she's had her fill
Don't have it now don't think we ever will
I don't begrudge you nothing I wish you well
I wish you everything you wish yourself

I didn't change I didn't change I'm still here
Let it ride let it ride and you'll see
Come on now what went wrong I told all ya
I didn't mean you no harm or nothing
Except to set you my baby free
What ever kept you from leavin' me

Enjoy!!!!!
