Michael Cretu, también conocido como M.C. Curly (Bucarest, 18 de mayo de 1957)es un músico rumano, creador del proyecto Enigma. Apareció en la escena con su grupo Cretu & Theirs.
Michael Cretu ha trabajado con muchos productores, músicos, y artistas en su extensa carrera, entre otros con Sandra Cretu, Frank Farian, Boney M, Goombay Dance Band, Peter Cornelius, Manfred “Tissy” Thiers y Mike Oldfield antes de crear Enigma, y Jens Gad, Frank Peterson
