A los 18 años abandonó su ciudad natal rumbo a Londres en busca de fama. Allí estuvo probando en distintos castings y por las noches trabajó en algún que otro musical. Se presentó al casting de Stage y fue elegida para el quinteto de chicas que más tarde conseguiría el éxito.
