Matt Thiessen nacido 12 de agosto de 1980 es el cantante, guitarrista y hombre clave para el punk banda de pop / rock n 'roll Relient K. También es el principal compositor de Relient K, escribiendo canciones que están influidas por sus antecedentes cristianos. Nació en Canadá y más tarde se trasladó a Ohio-Estados Unidos. Uno de sus m grandes influencias musicales es The Beach Boys
Además de estar en Relient K, Matt toca en su propio proyecto solista de piano llamado Matthew Thiessen and The Earthquakes.
