Biografía:
Marc Almond, nacido en 1959 en Inglaterra bajo el signo de Cáncer, será recordado por el gran público por su trabajo como vocalista en Soft Cell, más en concreto por su hit Tainted Love, en realidad una versión de un antiguo hit del Northern Soul, convenientemente enfríada y sintetizada musicalmente. Como diríamos hoy, un hit global, un himno del synth-pop (en su día tecno-pop), de los 80's, del hedonismo, incluso Soft Cell fueron, por coincidencia temporal, puestos en el saco del nuevo romanticismo.
