Lucky Dube (provincia de Mpumalanga, Sudáfrica, 3 de agosto de 1964 - Johannesburgo, Sudáfrica, 18 de octubre de 2007) era uno de los cantantes y músicos de reggae más conocidos internacionalmente.
Fue asesinado en Johannesburgo, la capital económica de Sudáfrica, durante un intento de robo de su vehículo, informaron fuentes policiales. El cantante, de 43 años, acababa de dejar a su hijo en casa de unos parientes cuando un número indeterminado de atacantes abrieron la puerta de su Chrysler y le dispararon.
