Biografía:
Nacida en los bosques de Butcher Hollow en 1935, la cantante country Loretta Lynn se convirtió en un icono de la música folk americana en 1981. Esto ocurrió cuando una película basada en la biografía de Lynn, "Coal Miner’s Daughter", llenó teatros y le valió a la actriz Sissy Spacek un Oscar. Durante 2 décadas, Lynn fue una habitual de las listas country, logrando un éxito tras otro y orientando sus letras hacia un universo femenino con temas como "Don't Come Home a Drinkin", "Fist City" y "Woman of the World".
