Biografía:
Nacido en Milton Campbell en una modesta casa de aparceros en las afueras de Inverness, Mississippi, el 7 de Septiembre del 1934.
Empezó tocando en la radio local y en clubs del entorno.
El hombre que hizo de THE BLUES IS ALRIGHT himno de la nación blues para los aficionados de todo el mundo, falleció el 4 de agosto de 2005, después de sufrir un derrame cerebral.
