Biografía:
Laura Cantrell es una cantante de Country y DJ de Nashville, Tennessee. Se mudó a New York para estudiar en Columbia, y pronto comenzó a presentarse en la Universidad en la radio de ésta, WKCR (luego llamada WFMU). Además realizaba shows en locales, colaboró They Might Be Giants en su Disco "Apollo 18" (1992).
Cantrell lamzó su primer LP en 2002, "Not the Tremblin' Kind". Este llamó la atención del DJ John Peel, que lo llamó su favorito.
