Ladytron tomaron su nombre de la canción de Roxy Music, ladytron y se formaron en Liverpool en 1998. Helen Marnie, Mira Aroyo, Daniel Hunt y Reuben Wu se convirtieron en auténtico paradigma de la modernidad con sus dos primeros discos, el irreprochable tratado de retro-pop ''604'' (01) y ''Light And Magic'' (02).
