Biografía:
Koko Taylor (28 de septiembre de 1928) y fallecida recientemente el 3 de junio del 2009 fue junto con Etta James y Big Mama Thorton la cantante de blues más importante de la segunda mitad del siglo XX.
Su nombre de pila era Cora Walton. Nació en el condado de Shelby, Tennessee, siendo la hija de un aparcero dejó Memphis para ir a Chicago, Illinois en 1952 con su marido, el camionero Robert "Pops" Taylor A finales de los años 1950 comenzó a cantar en clubes de blues de Chicago.
