Kirk Franklin, nacido el 26 de enero de 1970, Estados Unidos. Nombrado como el ganador de los Premios Grammy, obtuvo disco platino por ventas con más de diez millones de grabaciones como músico afroamericano y combina estilos musicales como el gospel, hip hop, y R&B.
Kirk Franklin es nativo de la ciudad Fort Worth de la región noreste del estado de Texas, en Estados Unidos, donde fue criado por su tía Gertrude Franklin después de ser abandonado por sus padres.
