Biografía:
Johnny Rivers tocó todos los géneros musicales que estuvieron de moda en la segunda mitad de los sesenta, sin especializarse en ninguno. Sus orígenes estaban en el folk, pero acabó recalando en un rock de tipo medio, sin demasiada fuerza, pero con gran efectividad, ya que supo captar lo mejor de cada uno de los estilos por los que había pasado.
Su verdadero nombre es John Ramistella y nació en 1942 en Nueva York. Ya en 1956, con tan solo 14 años, grababa en el grupo "The Spades".
