Joey Cape es cantante y musico de varias bandas, entre ellas Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut, The Playing Favorits & Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Ha compuesto 1 LP en solitario, "Bridge", sacado en 2008. Además grabó un split con Tony Sly (cantante de No Use For A Name), tocando en acústico canciones de Lagwagon y No Use For A Name.
