Biografía:
Nacido en 1960 en Carolina del Norte, Joe Henry es uno de los músicos-escritores de canciones más relevantes de esa fórmula musical bautizada como “americana”. “Su sonido se puede definir como una mezcla equilibrada y vibrante de gran complejidad rítmica, donde sobresalen las tonalidades oscuras y enigmáticas”, explica Javier Díaz. Henry experimenta con texturas sónicas –guitarras con ecos, “delays”, sintetizadores- y toma elementos del jazz, el soul, el blues, el country-rock y el pop.
