Biografía:
Mathis James "Jimmy" Reed nació en Dunleith, Mississippi el 6 de septiembre de 1925 y falleció el 29 de agosto de 1976.
Fue uno de los más grandes bluesmen de la posguerra y con una ascendencia decisiva en la generación que en los sesenta constituiría al emergente rock´n´roll. Fue así que los Rolling Stones lo consideraron su mayor influencia, habiendo grabado en sus inicios el tema Honest i do de Reed. También su música tuvo gran contribución en la producción de Bob Dylan.
