Biografía:
Jimmie Vaughan nació en Texas en 1949, es al igual que su hermano Stevie Ray Vaughan, un gran guitarrista de blues, si bien menos conocido que éste.
Su estilo de tocar es fácilmente reconocible, se caracteriza por no usar púa. Fue miembro del grupo de blues-rock "The fabulous thunderbirds" junto al armonicista Kim Wilson.
Junto a su hermano realizó el album "Family style", que vió la luz en 1990, justo el año en que falleció su hermano Stevie Ray. Jimmie Vaughan nunca se ha alejado demasiado del terreno del blues.
