Biografía:
James Roy Horner (Los Ángeles, California, Estados Unidos, 14 de agosto de 1953 - California, 22 de Junio de 2015) fue un compositor y director de orquesta estadounidense, dedicado principalmente a componer bandas sonoras para películas, trabajando en este campo durante más de 30 años.
Ha sido nominado a los Premios Óscar en el apartado a la Mejor Banda Sonora en ocho ocasiones: Aliens, el regreso (1986), Campo de sueños (1989), Braveheart (1995)
