1) Insania fue fundada en 1992 por 2 musicos de Estocolmo - Mikko Korsbäck (bateria) y Henrik Juhano (guitarra). La meta: Crear musica en el estilo de Helloween, Gamma Ray y Blind Guardian.
Los siguientes en unirse a la banda fueron Tomas Stolt (bajo), Niklas Dahlin (guitarra) , Patrik Västilä (teclados) y David Henriksson (voz).
