Biografía:
Hooverphonic es un grupo de rock/pop belga formado en 1996. Aunque en un principio se situaron dentro del Trip hop, rapidamente su sonido se expandió hasta el punto de ser realmente dificil su clasificación.
La banda originalmente se llamó Hoover pero cambiaron su nombre por Hooverphonic ya que existian otros grupos denominados Hoover.
El grupo consiguió fama internacional gracias a la incursión del tema 2Wicky (de A new stereophonic sound spectacular) en la banda sonora de la pelicula de Bernardo Bertolucci Belleza Robada.
