Biografía:
Hole es una banda de rock alternativo/grunge formada en Los Ángeles en 1989 por Courtney Love (voz, guitarra rítmica) y Eric Erlandson (guitarra). La banda ha logrado un éxito comercial y de crítica considerable a lo largo de la década de 1990, iniciando con el lanzamiento de sencillos a través de sellos independientes en Los Ángeles y debutando con su agresivo y influenciado noise rock Pretty on the Inside (1991), y más tarde ganando casi unánime aclamación de la crítica con su álbum de 1994, Live Through This.

This is the tab for the original version of Rock Star by Hole. The song currently known
as Rock Star is
actually called Olympia. When Kurt died, Live Through This had this as it's last track
and Asking For It had
Kurt backing vocals near the end. So from the time he died to the time the album was
released (4 days) Geffen
had to reprint every disk with the other version of Asking For It and Olympia. Except
they didn't have time
to reprint the sleeves, so the misprint was permanent. This track was not released
because of the line that says
"How'd you like to be Nirvana...Say you'd rather die" This was released on a single
called Live Through This
Outtakes along with the other version of Asking For It.
