Biografía:
O guitarrista Vulcano - que desde 1986 atuava em bandas locais da região de Campinas - fundou o Hellish War em 1995. Inicialmente sua idéia era formar um “power-trio”. O baterista Jayr Costa e o baixista e vocalista Marcos juntaram-se à banda e assim fizeram os primeiros shows.
Com essa formação também gravaram a primeira demo tape em 1996. Intitulada The Sign, o trabalho foi super elogiado pela crítica especializada no Brasil.
