George Canyon (nacido Fred George Lays Jr. el 22 de agosto de 1968) es un George Canyon (nacido Fred George Lays Jr. el 22 de agosto de 1968) es un cantante guitarrista de música country de Canadá. Creció en el condado de Pictou, Nueva Escocia. Él es el padre de dos hijos con su esposa, Jennifer.
En 2004, George Canyon compitió en Nashville Star 2. Se colocó segundo en la competencia, pero se hizo muy conocido en Canadá y obtuvo mucho apoyo, siendo el único canadiense en hacer el corte para la competencia.
