Biografía:
Llevan en activo desde 2003, cuando se conocieron en la universidad, pero fue el año pasado cuando Future Islands se convirtió en uno de los nombres en boga del pop electrónico. La razón hay que buscarla en su fichaje por 4AD, sello al que llegaron en 2013 tras estrenarse en Thrill Jockey con “Wave Like Home” en 2008, y en el que se han estrenado este año con “Singles”, un tratado de synth-pop trotón, elegante y melancólico encabezado por Samuel T.
