Biografía:
Free Energy es una banda indie americana de Pennsylvania. Sus miembros son Scott Wells, Paul Sprangers, Evan Wells, Geoff Bucknam, y Nick Shuminksy.
En la actualidad, cuentan con un EP homónimo y su primer álbum debut llamado Stuck On Nothing lanzado el 4 de Mayo de 2010. Se autoclasifican como Indie Rock, Rock y Power Pop.
Los orígenes de la banda se sitúan en Red Wing, Minessota, cuando empezaron a dar mini-conciertos bajo el nombre de "Hockey Night".
