Biografía:
Freddie King (1934-1976) fue un guitarrista de blues originario de Texas, se caracterizó por su gran influencia en la siguiente generación de grandes guitarristas del género y por su calidad en la interpretación tanto vocal como instrumental.
Su primer gran éxito le llegó en 1960 con el instrumental "Hideaway". Entre sus seguidores se podría citar a Stevie Ray Vaughan, Peter Green de Fleetwood Mac o al mismísimo Eric Clapton.
Un ataque al corazón cortó de raiz su aún prematura carrera a mediados de los 70.
