Biografía:
Felt Comenzaron a sonar con el LP "Crumbling The Antiseptic Beauty" (1981) y sus tres primeros discos forjaron un sonido que les enmarcó dentro de la new wave. Con reminiscencias declaradas de Television por parte de Lawrence, gran admirador de Tom Verlaine. Los papeles principales se los dividían Hayward a la voz y composición y Maurice Deebank a la guitarra. El cambio llegó con "Ignite the Seven Cannons" (1985). Robin Guthrie, de Cocteau Twins, les admiraba tanto que decidió producirles su cuarto trabajo.
