Originarios de varios lugares del Reino Unido pero con base en Manchester, Mike (batería), Jonathan (voz, guitarra, portátil), Jeremy (bajo, voces) y Alex (guitarra, voces) forman los originales e innovadores Everything Everything.
Sus influencias están en bandas de los ochenta como XTC por su ruptura de los estándares melódicos de la canción pop, otras bandas como ABC en el uso de los teclados (compárense éstos en Poison Arrow, de estos últimos y en My Kz
