Biografía:
Ernest Gold (nacido como Ernst Gold) (Viena, Austria, 13 de julio de 1921, - Santa Monica, California, 17 de marzo de 1999) fue un compositor norteamericano. Recibió el oscar y en 1961 el premio Grammy por Song of the Year (Musica del Año) por la musica del film Éxodo. Gold creo casi 100 musicas originales para cine y televisión entre 1945 y 1992, incluyendo la música para la serie televisiva Hawaii Five-O.
También compuso un musical en Broadway en 1968: I'm Solomon (Soy Salomon).
