Josh Johnson e Nicole Johnson formam essa dupla de folk/pop chamada Elenowen. O nome é uma homenagem à mãe de Josh, Elen e ao pa de Nicole, Owen.
Eles se conhecem desde os 15 e 16 anos, namoraram por um ano, terminaram e ficaram separados por um ano e meio, reataram e estão juntos desde então. “Depois do primeiro termino, eu acho que nós dois sabíamos que nós éramos feitos um para o outro, mas também sabíamos que não éramos o que o outro precisava naquele momento de nossas vidas."
